I am using GFT at the moment and had gotten the curve just so I could trade through my phone. As it turned out you can only see price on the Blackberry’s and not actual graphs. If you want to be able to see graphs with GFT you need to get a Palm. Even then you can’t have the program running on your phone and your computer at the same time, which for me was a problem because I had set up alerts so that I didn’t need to watch it all of the time but since my alerts would only work on the desktop and not on my phone I was unable to trade on my phone :(.
I did look into some of the metatrader brokers such as interbank and FXDD but they don’t have a system for the blackberry. Not sure of any other brokers that let you trade on the blackberry.
I thought of getting a very small computer (yeah I’m a nerd so what?) and using it with my phone when away from wifi, problem is, would I really use it enough to justify the expense… at the time I was working at a place with wifi and I was working during some good trades, but when I’m trading I pay a good deal of attention when warrented to the charts, and have learned to block other things out, is that such a great idea?
Driving and trading is a bad idea, working and trading is a bad idea, dating and trading is a worse idea, so really whats the benifits other then the cool factor? Not to mention half the time you would/could use it your likley to be distracted anways.
