Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on which paid tradingview.com subscription is best bang for your buck for beginners?
I’ve been playing around with Oanda, MT4, and Tradingview to see which interface I like the most. So far, I like the flexibility and ease of use for Tradingview.
While I’m trading demo, I plan to use the advance charting view on Oanda since its a less capable Tradingview build. But once I’m ready to really start trading, I want to be able to use all the different functions tradingview offers, as well as view two of the same charts at once.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I started with the free one and as I added charts and alerts, it kept telling me I needed to upgrade. I think there are four levels? I’m at the 3rd(Pro?) It has what I need. I occassionally get an alert to upgrade because I’ve try to add too many alerts, but I’ve found I’m just sloppy/lazy with them and can go back and delete some
old ones. Likewise with the chart layouts and indicators. If I want to try a new indicator and get the “upgrade” alert, I just delete one or two and keep going. Haven’t found any need, or don’t expect to, for the top one(the 4th one) They have a pretty good screen where it lays the 4 options side-by-side and tell you the max you can have for that particular subscription.
yeah, I was thinking of starting with the Pro subscription first when I’m ready to start trading for real. Thanks for the tips! I figure I can use a small portion of profits to pay for these expenses once I develop a profitable strategy
The charting package in invaluable, at least to me.
It is a modern and really useful resource which can be used for constant work on technical and fundamental analysis. And I use it for a long time and know that it is useful for many my colleagues. So it is really possible to advise for productive work.
finally bit the bullet and got it. and now i never want to go back to a life without it. that replay mode is EVERYTHING. I got SOOOO much backtesting done today!
