I love the idea of Forex trading for mainly for fun and maybe in the future a little profit.
What I’m looking for is some one on one training. I’m going through Pip school and find it fantastic, but I have so many questions…
I have a demo account setup, and some things are starting to fall in place but would love to see experienced traders place a trade and explain exactly why they entered the trade at that specific time!
Does anyone know any reputable training outfits\people in Auckland, New Zealand that offer one on one or class training for Forex?
I don’t really know of any good one-on-one sessions (that are not a scam attempting to lure you into to something else). However, there are plenty of resources online. You have definitely started in the right place. This forum is full of experienced traders who love to help newbies out.
Along that regard, I have a thread that explains exact times to enter and exit specific trades in addition to several other seasoned contributors who have done the same. You can check it out here:
Generally speaking, any invitation from an unsoliticited person by email is spam. So I would definitely assume they are trying to sell you something. My personal feeling is that paid-training does not work unless you find a mentor. The best mentors do not advertise, in my opinion.
I would imagine that any free seminar will inevitably lead to the seminar host seeking to sell you a course, system, training or something, otherwise why would they be offering a free seminar? Although it would be nice if someone were to set up a charitable foundation to help traders find consistent profits!
haha, like that would happen. I agree that most seminars aren’t worthwhile to almost any degree. The people speaking usually have the exact same tools you can find anywhere online for free. Just do the research so you can trust it, don’t let them always do it for you.
IBFX, MBT, & FXDD have webinars from time to time for their acct holders, demo or live. Some of these are pretty basic but at other times one of their pros explains his/her setups and trading strat.
Thanks for all the replies. I think a mentor would be awsome, but not easy to find. I thought there would be a decent meetup group for like minded forex traders here in my country but this seems not to be the case.
I’ll stay active in this forum\site as this is the best source of information for beginner traders on the net!
That would be great! Maybe one of the mre successful traders on the forum who has made his (or her) millions make like to give something back for future traders?
