Trojan discovered in TickData

Hello
I have been recommended tickdata for its easy to use of downloading 99.9% data.
Before installation, I submitted tds2-setup-v2.2.8.0 to virustotal.com.
It returned a result with Trojan.MultiPackedCRTD.Win32.8278 and malicious_confidence_77%.
Apparently the installer contains Trojan. No wonder VPS does not allow installing this application.

This is so threating. I dare not install this software into my computer. Is there any other virus-free application as good as tickdata and can download 99.9% trade data?

Those alerts can sometimes be false alarms produced by over-sensitive scanning software, but in general it pays to be very cautious indeed with .exe files, and especially free ones.

I’ve read somewhere that the incidence of malware concealed in free EA’s downloaded from trading forums, in particular, is also extremely high.
