Trojan horse after installing MF Global FX MetaTrader 4 Platform

Hey,

Wondering if anybody else has had this happen to them before…

So, I’m interested in MF Global and I get a demo account. They immediately emailed me my credentials and a link to FX Trading Station. Boo…I wanted MT4. Whatever.

An hour later, I get another email from MF Global with a link to their flavor of MT4. Wicked!!!

I download, install, and when I try to run, AVG gives me a Trojan Horse warning! WTF!!! OK, uninstall, download again, reinstall, run…TROJAN HORSE AGAIN!!

In short, not terribly impressed with MF Global so far.

Hi,
I downloaded their MT4 platform a couple weeks ago cause I have my live account with them and didn’t experience anything like that…hmmm. I’m not at home right now, but later I can send you a link that they sent me and you can try that if you like. I also use AVG.

Is it possible the antivirus application may be came up with a fake warning? No software is perfect.
