i have found a new interesting site for trading forex with expert advisors. The developers release their experts to all members and there is also some tests that are very promising. This is the address: atfx.mybb3.org

I am backtest their Trend Follower EA on EURUSD and the results are very promising in the same way they have shown on their forum.

I will post some results on next days.

If the EA worked, I would think they wouldn’t need money from visitors because they would be profitable already. :wink:

You can think what you want, I think that the tests reported on their website speak for themselves

I checked the site. One EA is under revision, and the other doesn’t even Demo results…never mind live trading results! DO NOT buy any EA unless you have verifiable LIVE trading results. Back tests mean NOTHING!!

Hi paradoxical,

i know that back test is not reliable, it is just an idea how the expert should work. I have spoke with site administrator; their expert are very new products and they have not forward test jet. They start a forward test on Demo account next Monday with the Trend Follower ver 1.2 (this is a production release).

Interesting however I notice they run the Trend Follower EA on the EU, and it only takes longs as this is / was the long-term trend. Got to think it will have lost a lot over the past couple of weeks.

Yes, I understand what you mean, but i think it was not take trades over the past couple of weeks.

When they show a couple months of consistent REAL time trading results, I may take a look at them. I have not yet seen any EA with consistent real time results. Some perform well in certain types of markets, and then tank. back tests and demo account trading mean nothing. The only results that count are real time trading results. Play money is just that…monopoly money that you can’t take to the bank. There’s a thousand EAs that looked great on paper, and then flop when the rubber meets the road.
