Ever since you started to use Captcha, I am unable to post comments on the home front page. I type in my text and the corresponding Captcha code, click post, everything seems fine, but the comment never appears. Is everyone having problems, or is it just me? Since I am not seeing any other comments there either I assume everyone is having the same issue.
Also, why do you need Captcha when you maybe have 1 or two 2 comments per blog update, none of them being spam? It makes commenting somewhat tedious and less attractive. With comments being rare as it were, this is not a good idea marketingwise.
Are you trying to comment on the blogs? Maybe your comments are being moderated. Be patient man. Even other websites do that because spammers are everywhere.
Yes, it’s the blogs. No problem, I can wait. I just wanted to address this issue as a friendly reminder, so someone can take a look and maybe fix it. I just noticed this happening ever since Captcha was introduced and since adding features like this to websites can sometimes be tricky, I assume this might be the cause of it.
Cheers
Hello XGhostDogX,
Thanks for the feedback. You actually shouldn’t see the Captcha box if you’re logged in. You should see your username above the commenting section, and that’s it.
Since you aren’t seeing what you should, I suggest clearing your web browser’s temporary Internet cache. Use instructions found here (look for your specific browser).
Please report back if that makes a difference.
Thanks!
