Hi! How do I interpret the situation where Unemployment Rate has [I]decreased[/I] while Non-Farm Payrolls is [I]negative[/I]? Does that mean that there are only layoffs (and no new employment) in nonfarm business establishments and government agencies and more employment in farms and government agencies?
Also, why is Non-Farm Payrolls considered to be more important indicator than Unemployment Rate?
