Universal EA, anyone used it?

I read elsewhere on this site that some EAs, especially the high dollar commercial ones, supposedly DO work…to some degree or another. I have megadroid running on a demo account just to see what it can do as I’ve heard here it was profitable, but I was wondering if anyone had tried to use the Universal EA? It’s supposedly an altered version of the third place winner of the 2007 or 2008 EA championship EA called Indian.

The price is insane, so I figured I’d best pick someone’s brain before I even think about playing with it.

As far as EAs go, Megadroid IMHO is one of the least profitable. I use Universal on my live account and it fing rocks. I made 416 USD today with it for example. If you are worried about the high cost, it is worth it. I learned about it from the 2008 automated trading championship and then bought the 1 month trial for 300. Then I found it on ebay and paid less for the full EA license then for the trial! eBay has all kinds of EAs for cheaper and if you’re lucky you might be able to find Universal still. Which other EAs have you heard of that work well? I’ve heard some good stuff about AleaFX, Cloverix, Forex Brilliance, and GBPBOT… I just don’t think I’m gonna find one with a better equity curve than Universal. If you have a grand, I’d say go for it.

Sounds interesting, do you have a link?

EA Indian Universal FAPTurbo GBPBOT Retracer FX-MAFIX - eBay (item 200477894661 end time Jun-06-10 05:17:22 PDT)

I see that he is still selling it on eBay for cheap…Well cheap in comparison to that website. It looks like a few other EAs are included in his auction and there are NO BIDS yet! I ended up buying all my EAs on eBay because it saved me thousands of dollars in the long run. What do you think about the FXMAFIX live results and the backtesting looks impressive too. It didnt come with Universal when I bought it though :frowning: Aye, :mad:Dissappointed

BTW Universal is the exact same as Indian and he makes it look like you are getting two EAs but you really get just Universal/Indian. Indian is Universal except that there are no variables for changing the settings. Indian is Universal with some specific settings that are a little risky for my trading style. All in all though I do recommend it strongly. If you have any questions about it just PM me or right on here works too./
