WARNING: RoboForex Platform Failure - Unable to Open/Close Trades During Market Hours

I would like to alert traders about a critical incident involving the broker RoboForex.

On March 31, 2025, during active trading hours on XAU/USD, the R Mobile Trader app became completely unresponsive for over an hour. I was unable to open, close, or modify any orders. The situation left my account exposed without any control over open trades, and RoboForex admitted the platform failure afterwards.

Another platform failure occurred again on April 7, 2025.

When contacted, RoboForex support stated that “technical issues can happen” — which is completely unacceptable when real money and active trades are at risk.

Be extremely cautious if considering trading with RoboForex. Platform reliability is critical, and a broker that allows users to be locked out of their accounts during key market hours should be questioned.

If anyone else has had similar experiences with RoboForex, please share here.

Thank you for reading.

Exactly.

Thanks for posting this warning.

Not being able to open a trade, very occasionally, through a technical issue, is one thing. But not being able to close an already-open position is of course a potential disaster (and obviously illegal in any properly regulated jurisdiction, where a broker would naturally be obliged to close retrospectively such a position in accordance with their price at the time of the time-stamped email so instructing them, and that would be closely examined by the regulator).

It’s because of their desire to be able to pull tricks like this that crooked companies of this kind choose to be “regulated” only in Belize.
