Not being able to open a trade, very occasionally, through a technical issue, is one thing. But not being able to close an already-open position is of course a potential disaster (and obviously illegal in any properly regulated jurisdiction, where a broker would naturally be obliged to close retrospectively such a position in accordance with their price at the time of the time-stamped email so instructing them, and that would be closely examined by the regulator).
It’s because of their desire to be able to pull tricks like this that crooked companies of this kind choose to be “regulated” only in Belize.
