Weekend trading

Is it just my broker that is closed on weekends or is it all of them? I was dabbling in forex about 9 years ago, and I remember then the fx market was open to retail trades on weekends.

All markets are closed in the weekends.
Only the crypto exchanges are open 24/7.

No, it’s not only for your broker! Currency market is close during the off days (Saturday & Sunday).

not all of them, but nearly all

there is some currency trading taking place at the weekend, of course (think about all the businesses transferring funds, and people buying real estate internationally on a Saturday, and so on) but volumes are very low and dealing costs pretty high

all the counterparty market-maker brokerages are closed at weekends

the volumes that are transacted (mostly on Saturdays and very, very little on Sundays) isn’t speculative volume, i.e. it isn’t people trading for profit

I never trade on weekends it is closed at friday night and reopen on Monday . Not just your broker it is with all forex brokers , May be other financial markets work at the time you mention.

Thank you everyone

Markets closed on the weekends. But when I just start trade and work with my first companies I saw trades on the weekends (OTC). If your broker provide trades on the weekends, this is signal, that you need to change broker.

MARKETS CLOSED ON THE WEEKENDS!

Forex market open for 5 days a week, but I ever hear there are the certain broker that still opened on weekend, but they charged higher spread than normal days, I forget what these brokers already, but if you want to trade on weekend, hence crypto market is never sleeping, although Sunday these market still opened
