What are the list of news events that can bring about significant price movements and high volatility in the forex market? I personally know of two events: NFP and FOMC, which are known for their high volatility.

Still figuring out, How to control High Slippage, High Spread and StopLevel. Today morning closed in loss due to Slippage and higher spread problem.

I don’t trade under news because of problems which you talking about. You can try to “predict” direction before news release.

The reason there’s illiquidity during news release is bc market makers and liquidity providers pull their orders to negate risk of the unknown outcome of the event. Traders should do the same.
Trading news is for experienced traders.
As a newbie you should avoid this. you will blow your account very soon.
