What are tramlines?

Noticed a reference to a tramline strategy from a trader on Twitter. Didn’t really find much here using Search.

Any ideas?

people use the term with slightly different meanings, in trading

they’re parallel-ish lines, anyway - can be MAs of highs/lows, various moving average channels, etc

for J. Ross they were 40-period SMAs of the highs and lows, but they could be other parallel-line indicators, in different contexts

I did notice a chart markup with trendlines at the highs and lows over the last few months.
