Can anyone tell me the difference (if any ) between these two forex analysts trading terms ?
" SHORT AT 1.2878 FOR A 1.2772 OBJECTIVE "
" SELL AT 1.5170 FOR A 1.5050 OBJECTIVE "
do they both mean the same thing ?
They both appeared in the same forex article but I don’t know why one is using the word ’ short ’ yet the other says ’ sell ’ . I thought shorting was selling ?
Yes, ‘going short’ and ‘selling’ are terms for the same thing.
The author of that article apparently didnt’t want to use the same term over and over, so he alternated.
thanks. I thought they meant the same thing but then I wondered if it was maybe some special way of selling that analysts use. As a novice in forex trading I thought Babypips.com would be the best place to shed some light on my query.
