Wow that’s looks promising Bro…
Could you share the EA As well and not only trying to show-off.
Because sharing is the essence of forum

Thanks Jason.
I am not trying to show off  Just try to find why it is so nice. I know there is a long way between backtesting and real account profits. Maybe it is because I don’t have variable spread on my BT.
My system does not use indicators, just analyses price movements and wait for abnormal volatility to place a trade.
I launch it today on demo account. Keep you informed

hi, looks really promising I should say. Just wondering, could you possibly share this EA with us here? THX and hope I am not asking too much.

Shuo

I found the problem. As the robot trades on high volatility, spread is much higher.
Just saw it today on live demo. BT does not work with higher spread.
So back to work :frowning:

actually that was the exact question i was going to ask. if you don’t account for spread especially at lower time frames your basically just manipulating the system into thinking its viable. As spread is a greater %age of the overall profit margin. its very easy to get brilliant backtests, but it make sure you are using realistic assumptions. include spread, slippage due to news events and anything else you can figure to take into account. Mt4 modeling quality IMHO means nothing its not a good measure you need to use standard robustness measures, in addition to making sure all costs and assumptions for market frictions are taken into account.
