What Is Smart Money?
Smart money is the capital that is being controlled by institutional investors, market mavens, central banks, funds, and other financial professionals.
it has a large description and also complicated for me.
Its literally the big players’ money. Only the big players are big enough to move prices. So if a forex price is rising its because big players are buying. So any attempted distinction between big and smart isn’t really helpful.
But more often, the only people talking about where the smart money is are salesmen, trying to convince innocent investors to follow some invisible money which they cannot see but which the salesman allegedly can and which is being invested into some unknown stock with a flat-line price. Somehow the smart money is going into this stock but without pushing its price up yet. And its only a matter of time so don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity…
So the majority of smart money talk is BS.
