What is the Wallet Address and where do I get it or find it?

I am brand new to all of this. But I need to transfer USDT from one account to my coinbase account. To do this, it seems, I need to add information on the origins page. This information is about a wallet where I want the funds to go. To do this, I need to put in the “Wallet Address” and Wallet Description. What is the Wallet Address and where do I get it or find it?

Go to your Coinbase account, and find currency USDT. Find out how you request a wallet address for RECEIVING USDT from an external source. I do not use Coinbase, but I use Bittrex. I go to the Holdings page, and click the arrow > to the left of the USDT and it asks me Withdraw or Deposit. Click Deposit and it shows a wallet adress like: 0xb28161bb0458bd578c08e9cefdc6d6ca2014e4gx. I changed some digits here just in case anyone makes a mistake and sends me some USDT (LOL). If you did, I would not return them. Muhahahahaha

I hope this is of use to you. alternatively, browse for "how to I create a wallet address for USDT - for example https://tokpie.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009046278-How-to-Create-USDT-ERC20-Wallet-Address-#:~:text=Generate%20USDT%20wallet%20address,[Generate%20new%20address]%20button.

Top answer there. Very thorough.

Honestly if you’re stuck with it I would have just asked their customer support. My experience with Coinbase is that they’re one of the most user friendly exchanges out there.
