Is it going to be bad as you’ll need to get up early 3 hours early to catch up with the trading session when it is busiest, Any pros and cons?
Thanks

Just wake up earlier I wake up at 4. Either you do or you wait and get the tail end of the market.
Cold:D
Plus you’ll have a new partner - Revenue Canada.
hmmm, I guess depends where you live, like I’m in China right now, as you wake up early as the Sun rises early@ 5am, but there is nothing much to do during the Tokyo session… … so you wait about 7 or 8 hrs for the European session before taking a nap… :o
Then after 4 hrs, when US sessions starts, it is about dinner time with family…and afterward what you wanna to do is going out for the evening to meet up with friends…not a good life or I am just spoiled or lazy:(
IMO, Europe would be best as you wake up fresh, have fun in the afternoon, then the evening is all yours…Nice
It also depends on what time you choose to trade, I’m -4GMT, anytime I wake up is fine with me, I trade on signals which can appear at any time of the day.
there is nothing much to do during tokyo session?? i think you should look closer to USD/JPY and EUR/JPY
I start looking for trades @9PM PST till 11PM or so (as long as I can handle staying up) and get back up for the US session by 6:30AM PST.
I use trailing stops and/or bracketed OCO orders to carry me through the night…
In general, I envy the East coasters…I am not a morning person.
East coast isn’t so easy either. Euro session starts at 3 am my time, I get up at 4:30 am. Up until this, I never set my alarm because my job lets me sleep in
Yeah I think the Pacific time zone is much better. I just finished my first week of forex trading and I live in California. I was told that the London session is the biggest and best time to trade. For those of us in California at least we can stay up a little late and perhaps find some good trades between 11pm and 1am. That will at least be my goal as I continue to learn forex.
What is trading like if one moves to CA ?
Sunny, breezy, and 85.:):)
It doesn’t matter where you live in the US. If you trade FX, you will keep odd hours regardless.
OHHHH, California!
I’m slow but I eventually get there.
Thanks all for the reply
I really like this Forex business which brings Money and Freedom…and you can choose where you live when you’ve got ALL the money right ?
I am still a newbie and trying her best :D:D
M2P is right you can move to Germany or France if you want to start when everone else starts.
I think my body naturally tends toward a nocturnal cycle, no idea why. For someone like me, the hours of FX is a dream come true in itself, being GMT-7
I am a newbie also. Depending on your life style, CA could be a great place to live.
