What kind of music you like to hear while you trade?

For a long time I didn’t like to have anything to distract me, but lately I listen to upbeat music in the background. It has to be turned pretty low though or I feel like I can’t concentrate.

I listen to music to relax (classical) or to be stimulated (heavy rock - anything from Led Zeppelin to Evanescence). But when I am trading, I prefer absolute silence. I don’t want to put half my mind into trade - all of it needs to be there. My age, probably. Trading requires ,and deserves, my undivided attention.

Same and I still don’t. I feel like if I’m trying to do something and listening to music I like at the same time, I’m just bound to make mistakes. Can only listen to music if I’m cleaning or driving lol.

None. I listen to financial news.

Any light music in the background doesn’t hurt me. But trading requires concentration. With your favourite music playing in its background, it could be hard for some of us to concentrate.
