WHAT PAIR SHOULD I TRADE?
Majority of the time, traders are faced with the choice of trading any pair. However, the question of what pair is best traded by me arises cos even the best trader in the world is bound to fall prey if he/she trades some new pair not within his/her expertise. The issue of pairs to be traded gets solved when the trader realizes what his daily, monthly, annual target is or would be. Likewise ones understanding of the desired pair. Personally i trade E/J…Gold…Gbp/usd…other than these nothing else
Agreed, its always a good idea to know one or two pairs well, than be a ‘jack of all trades and master of none’ so to speak. A good starting out pair would be E/U. Even if not specifically trading E/U its a good idea to have this chart up as several pairs are highly correlated. GU as an example.
in my opinion, E/U is the easiest pair to trade.
i remember when i started trading for the first time some years back, i traded anything without understand its chart, i made some funny profits and more occasions made regrettable losses. However, when i became grounded, I personally picked out a few pairs and its been amazing. E/U is okay but i still prefer GU and Ej. but for newbies, eu and gu should be okay
over the past 5 years i trade E/U. and i think the pair is suit with me. it’s depend with ourselves to trade which pair. the most important things is we must have a knowledge before we trade forex.
most pairs are affected by the movements done in the EURUSD, so yeah thats the pair that you shoudl start with and stuy and understand what affects it, where its heading and etc, from there you will learn to look into other pairs and and about what factors affect these pairs, itss a long proccess of learning. so take your time with it 
EUR/USD takes the day, its the default pair for new traders.
Keeping your focus on one pair will make life easier for you.
As a newbie, don’t try to trade several pairs at once. Start with EU or maybe another pair which you feel better. Then slowly move to other pairs. I am trading only 05 pairs at the moment.
Focus on 2-3 pairs max in the beginning. I’d say EURUSD, USDJPY and maybe EURGBP. If you can, focus on just ONE pair and trade it all day. That’s how you’ll learn.
I would say EURUSD, USDJPY and EURJPY. Even if you don’t trade EURJPY, you might still find some clues as to where other two pairs will be going.
