If I had to take a guess it was when Brits Attorney General Geoffrey Cox said that Theresa plan “reduces risk/issues” but the UK is trapped indefinitely in N. Ireland backstop. I believe it severely reduced the chances of T. May succeeding with her revised plan.
Just wait until tonight at 7pm UK time…
GBP and EUR are likely to be extraordinarily unpredictable between now and 29/03. Don’t take your eyes off them. Or set exit orders.
After losing on 2 small longs on GBP from 0800, the TP’s on my 4 larger GBP shorts triggered between 1030 and 11.
I was asking the same question when I checked my charts at 7:45 am EST to considerable profit for a small account and closed my position.
Will be watching closely. Thanks for the explanation.
Frandlost a little less,

Today will be volatile with more uncertainty, more votes, and confusion. GBP/CAD had a similar movement.
You taking a trade on this?
Not specifically, no. My weekly trade in GU was a long on Monday and it rather quickly hit the desired levels and is closed - but saying that should it have not hit the TP level I would as always keep it open regardless of the news which is coming out (it’s a systematic approach, entry, SL and TP - no adjusting)
I am currently in a weekly EU trade which is still open, the result of the vote tonight may ripple through the market to affect this pair, but i’d expect it to be subdued rather than what we may see in GBP pairs.
Did you do anything differently this week knowing all the Brexit votes were taking place. Or maybe give the trade more wiggle room? Learning from prior Brexit vote weeks, I stayed away.
Hey @forexforexforex
No, I keep it simple.
Wiggle room is already built into the price, per se. I also look for weekly signals, in this case the signal was triggered on Monday as the markets open - the only effect from the volatile markets was that I hit my TP much much quicker than expected.
I hate when that happens!
Thanks!
Yea it sounds like the dream, right.
But, let’s not forget I had an equal chance of hitting my SL rather quick too - right place at the right time, that’s all.
True that. Always need to keep perspective.
