I know there are smart people here, so Im going to ask, What we can expect for Christmas? The probability is, bad news, we all know that, but if you have some advices to share with us for that day, could be the best!
some eggnog, a turkey, a few maids a milkin’, several lords a leaping, bunch of birds and associated droppings, a odd number of women dancing, and a couple more rings than the book contained !

Hahahahaha funny as usual dear mp. Well I think the market may stay as volatile as is has been over the last months. Maybe it’s time to settle down with the trades, review your strategy for next year and chill with the coming celebrations.
For Christmas I expect a calm and slow market, not lots variations actually, as usual. Then after Christmas itll all get back to “unnormal”.
Besides all the fun stuff for Xmas I guess we all expect a change on how the crisis is affecting the market. Hopefully we get to see a less volatile trend next year. Merry Xmas.
We all expect to have good holydays with our families hahaha Seriusly, we dont have to expect to get more than in the whole year. You know what I mean.
aside from having fun with my posts, the “santa claus rally” actually happens in january, and is expected this coming year also.
i heard a rumor that EX pres bush is receiving a lump of coal in his stocking this xmas, so hopefully that bodes well for we mere humans !

wow I guess I’ll do a research and I will probably trade coal options for next year. I guess for trading options there’s a good panorama, although for forex currencies there’s no crisis around as far as I can see.
Crisis or not crisis is good to be ready for next year, thats mean get the best tools to trade, one of them are options, another software, or good strategy. Whatever you need could be good.
considered advice !
allow me to add the two ingredients which apply to coal, oil, futures, options, equities, forex, winter wheat, nuts and berries and trading cards ------ EXPERIENCE and MIND SET !
without those two, NOTHING else matters and only time can bring them to fruition !
gather yee the nuts and berries, envelop yourself in their knowledge and ABSORB everything you can — then go forth, with lance and saber in hand and engage the enemy — just make sure, as pogo has said “we have met the enemy and it is us !” does not come true !
sweet new year and gracious and good holiday
enjoy and trade well

LoL mp.
Concerning Christmas, obviously almost everybody knows that we are in the midst of an economic recession so it may not be as festive as years passed. However, like all things, this won’t be permanent and eventually prosperity will eventually bring its joys again. It’s all a matter of knowing what the trend (yes, in my view, trends can also be applied here in our daily lives, not just forex) is and being able to adjust to it and handle it and maybe even take advantage of it.
As one previous poster already stated, the recession doesn’t seem to be stopping our market ( i don’t think anything really will) and that’s a good thing.
Thus, here’s to a Merry Christmas and happy holidays, and for a much more prosperous New Year!
