What's cooking?

That’s a fair point. She thought her husband was gonna go down that rabbit hole with her, and he was like, ¨aw, hell naw!´ haha

Can you imagine:
¨Hey babe. Do you think you could make me a sandwich instead?¨

She returns to the kitchen for a minute.

He gets excited, then she comes back from the kitchen with noodles between two slices of bread!

Wanna dabble with some Asian cuisine?

You may need some of these Asian cuisine staples.

Don’t forget fresh coriander!

Speaking of fresh coriander…

Some people hate it. I seriously don’t understand how anyone can dislike this wonderfully fragrant herb.

I’m listening to this now. It’s really good.

This farmer switched from industrial farming to regenerative farming.

He explained how most American meat IS NOT produced in the USA. The law says the company can import the meat then put a ¨Made in America¨ label if the company adds value. Meaning, they can import meat from Australia, ground it up or slice it, then label it ¨Made in America¨.

Crazy.

He also has a book.

I heard rumors about this serval years ago, the meat industry was lobbying the U.S. government to be allowed to do this. crazy indeed

And most people have no idea what’s going on! This is a very big deal.

Man, lobbying is the way to get things done. Forget about protesting. Protests haven’t worked since McDondalds stopped using styrofoam in the 1990s.

I almost hate to say it like this, but, I feel like there’s no way to stop big corporations.

Law makers are deciding about how to vote for this new meat importing law. Me and 200 people are protesting outside Congress with some signs; we’re trying to stop this law. However, for the past 3 months, lobbyists for the meat industry have been sending gifts to Congressmen, and offering shares of the company if they agree to sign the bill into law–that will be a lot of money.

Who do you think the Congressmen are gonna listen to? Me and my protesting friends, or the lobbyist who’s been putting the equivalent of $250k in their pockets?

There’s no way to beat money and greed.

Burger King has a burger made with 0% beef. Have you tried it yet?

If so, you may wanna think twice about eating it again.

I’m still listening to this podcast, and they just talked about fortified cereal. I was buying cereal BECAUSE it was fortified with more vitamins and minerals. Apparently, it’s fortified in a way that’s NOT so good for the body.

I’ll have to look that up to understand it better. But, that’s pretty crazy. During the past few months I’ve been eating a lot less cereal.

This one was my favourite.

It has a long list of vitamins and minerals on the nutrition label. I guess it’s not as healthy as I thought.

When you start learning the truth, you realize how deep you are in the lie.

I didn’t try that, but in the supermarket, I picked up some vegan burger patties that looked like meat. They didn’t quite taste like meat, but overall, they were okay. They did cost more than the meat patties, though.

Interesting way to cook

And this is the way how to cook it at home:

I tasted it in Iceland, and it was really good

Doctors have confirmed there is no traces of food in her body, I still can’t believe this.

She Hasn’t Eaten in 16 Years (No Food, No Water)

This story is crazy. I traveled to a rural village in Ethiopia to track down a woman, named Muluwork, who claims to have not eaten in 16 years. Not a single piece of food or a sip or water. And on top of that, she doesn’t use the bathroom!!! After spending a few days observing her fascinating life and interviewing dozens of her neighbors, friends, and family members - I must admit that her story is pretty convincing.

That’s cool that they’re using avocado oil. But, with so many (unprocessed) food options out there, as a vegan, why give so much attention to a food that’s trying so hard to resemble meat?

Weird. I wonder how her body produces new cells and repairs itself. How did she grow if she hasn’t eaten anything? When she menstruates, how does her body produce more blood?

Does she perspire? Has she ever perspired in 16 years?

What an enigma she is…

doctors estimate that a well-nourished individual can survive without medical consequences on a diet of sugar and water for 30 days or more. The longest period for which anyone has gone without solid food is 382 days in the case of Angus Barbieri (UK) (b. 1940) of Tayport, Fife, who lived on tea, coffee, water, soda water and vitamins in Maryfield Hospital, Dundee, Angus, from June 1965 to July 1966, His weight declined from 214 kg (33 st 10 lb) to 80.74 kg (12 st 10 lb).
