It seems the stock market has the Santa Claus rally but what does the forex market have? I know volatility typically dies down. When in the month do you usually stop trading? Is it just the last week of December or literally just from December 24 to December 25?

For me it differs every year, but with Christmas being on a Sunday this year, I was planning on taking a four day weekend. I’ll finish up on Thursday and then get back online on Tuesday.

I follow the pro traders who could typically finish 16th this year, and reopen in the NY. Competing with retail trader sentiment during this holiday period is not my cup of tea.
But each to their own. And best Xmas wishes to all.

Today I also open a gold trade so no problem at all! Even, December is my favorite month for trading!
This literally seems to be everyone’s schedule. I just asked a bunch of my other friends who work corporate and this is their exact schedule
