I am using the “Supply / Demand” strategy, and when wondering when to buy or sell?
In case of BUY, should I wait till the candles closes above the zone but started inside the zone OR wait for the next candle that opens and closes above the zone?
Michael - Both scenarios make sense, the second one offers more confirmation of the price move, so a higher probability of a win, but at the cost of a less favourable entry. It might be that one approach would work better on higher volatility pairs, but the only real test is to trial it, for example through a demo account.
In the “Supply/Demand” strategy, for a BUY, it’s usually safer to wait until a candle closes above the zone, showing clear upward momentum. For a SELL, wait for a candle that closes below the zone, confirming a downward trend. This approach helps confirm the market’s direction
