Its all down to the progress made in Brexit deal negotiations (if any), any extension to the negotiating period, the terms of the deal, how quickly it can be enacted, the effects of the deal, and the damage that Brexit does to the government, followed by the probabilities of the PM’s resignation, the appointment of a new PM, the fall of the government and the possibility of a Jeremy Corbyn-led Labour government or coalition government or government of national unity.
Simple really.
Effects on trade, employment, GDP and inflation will probably not be completely clear for months after Brexit.
Bear in mind that some sources in the City have long held that a Jeremy Corbyn government might be more damaging to the UK economically than a no-deal Brexit.
