Which time frame is good for Gold trading? I always choose 30-minutes and sometimes 15-minutes candles which I don’t know whether good or not.
Surely this comes from the strategy you’re using and not from the experiences of someone else using a different strategy?

That would be MN240, gold is too manipulated with too little volatility unless you are scalping or are very experienced.

For order execution (entry timing) and monitoring (exit timing), not for analysis of trade setup, anyone asks if they are the same thing I give up

Agree with tommor. But apart from the strategy, do you have a particular objective in mind? Like, the amount of pips you’re targeting to win in every trade? Cause that can also guide you as to which time frame would be the best.
About 30 years, for me. It has worked.
