Who has joined the BANG Gang?

It looks like WSB is heavily touting the BANG (BB, AMC, NOK, GME) Gang.

Who is part of the gang? Anybody holding strong on any of the above stonks?

I got me some diamond hands on BB and NOK. :large_blue_diamond: :rocket: :joy:

Did anybody get in early on GME?

Hi TradingPanda,
I was fascinated enough with the news yesterday to spend a little time finding out who WSB was, and so joined. That timing just happened to coincide with a setup that I took on Friday afternoon wherein I put a limit order in to buy some XRP at below market value. When I woke up this morning to find XRP about 65% up overnight, I cancelled my buy order and reversed my plan to sell my existing XRP holding. But not before I found out what had been going on. I quickly found some social media buzz about a Telegram group planning to do a WSB on XRP starting on Monday, but figured something else had already happened. There was, of course, the SEC filing made by Ripple, and that is what I determined was the cause of the dramatic rise, not the actions of WSB wanabees. I did however decide to spend 2 to 3 hours watching a live stream of and XRP screen with commentary, attended by nearly 2,000 others, and managed to commit my XRP sale at a price around 10% better than I had planned on Friday.

Lesson learned. Between planning a set up and making an entry, check social media for any recent news or current news that could adversely affect (or positively affect) the outcome of the entry. This trade has made more than my planned profit for the entire of February, and it is not yet 1st February!

I have NOK and will continue to buy below $5. I believe it’s going up with or without WSB. The reason being only 3 companies share the major 5g contracts around the world: Ericsson, Nokia, and Huawei. With the current 5g situation, there’s still room for growth.

Didn’t get GME.

Depending on your timeframe, you can make a levered bet using call options.

Regarding 5G, there are a lot of obstacles that remain from the deployment of potentially millions of small cells to solving the excessive heating issues on mmWave radio chips so your smartphone doesn’t burst into flames. There’s definitely a lot of potential for 5G, especially for companies that have super low latency and high bandwidth requirements (like AR, autonomous cars and drones, etc.). But if you look at the capex budgets for the big telcos, it doesn’t seem like they’re in a big hurry to upgrade huge swaths of their current equipment anytime soon.
