Why can't I find my brokers server on MT4 for iPhone (FXCM Spread Betting)?

Hi, I’ve just created my first live account. I’ve successfully connected to it on MetaTrader on my Mac, but I cannot connect to it on my iPhone, using the MT4 app, because the server is not listed.

The server I must connect to is: FXCMSpreadBetting-GBPReal01

But only the following servers appear when I start searching for it on the MT4 app:

I tried connecting to the FXCM-GBPReal01 server, but received the following error message:

Error Message.jpg394×700 18.2 KB

Why is the correct server coming up, and what can I do to fix this problem?

As stated, I’ve already tried that. The result was the error message shown in the second picture.

ah yes sry that part escaped my glance. best contact the broker.

From what I know, FXCM has servers for their Forex platforms which are different from the spreadbetting servers. They even have a different MT4 for spreadbetting. But confirm with that Jason guy

I had a similar experience while trying to login to the Profiforex Mt4 iphone app. I could not find my broker’s server and when I contact them, I was told to use ForexServer and it actually worked. I think the FXCM server on Mobile is different from the Desktop MT4.
