Curious…
Why was the stock market up this week, especially Friday? I’m still learning the fundamentals stuff, but I would have guessed people would be pulling their money out of fear re: the Greek election outcome.
The stock market was up because there were more buyers than sellers.
Don’t make the mistake of trying to discover [B]the[/B] reason(s) for the daily or weekly gyrations of a market. Why any trader or institution decides to buy or sell is particular to them and unknown to the rest of us. Furthermore, fundamental analysis may give some vague notion of where the markets might be going, but does not contribute to the more important issue of a proper entry/exit strategy.
Personally, excluding the news that an asteroid is about to collide with the earth, I only give a vaguely passing interest to news with regards to my immediate trade executions.
