Will MT4 work with Microsoft Surface or Asus Vivotab?

Hello,

I want to buy tablet to trade using MT4 ,
Will the tablets i mentioned work with normal MT4 ( same as Desktop version ) ?

No they run Windows MT, a ****ty touch only version of windows 8 designed for arm processors. The desktop is still there, but no legacy program (or anything NOT specifically made for a touch screen) will work.

You need a tablet pc that supports legacy. there are only a few that work.

Microsoft Surface will work if you get the Surface with Windows 8 Pro otherwise there’s no MT4 for it yet

While searching in google,
The Microsoft Surface Pro ( Which will be able to run EXE files ) will run any desktop application,
this means the MT4 too right ?

Another question…

I have asked my first question because i want to buy a tablet which will allow me to backtest using MT4…
Is there any tablets which has MT4 backtesting option? the Surface pro is a little bit pricey and still not released…

Yes. The win8 tablet works very well. I use MT4 in my Acer w510. Works perfectly.
You don’t need keyboard and mouse anymore and take it with you to trade anywhere.

If it can run .exe files then it probably will.
I’m using the android version on my ipad but I don’t like how I can’t add custom indicators.

Hi , me too am looking to trade with MT4 on a tablet , small and always connected.
I am not familiar with tablets , and do not really know what is available.
Which are the options these days ?
by the way , is a 10" screen big enough ?

Stay away from Android tablets. MT4 is crippled on it. Surface Pro would be my choice.

And what about screensize , is 10inch comfortable to use ?

On Windows OS and even in windows tablet the metatrader will work normally there. Windows operating system is different with android. So, meta4 will not same work that installed in android.
