I would have had the lower ascending trend line steeper showing the break out sooner. Then you could have scores some pips off the break out from the pennant. Cheers

At some point you just give up on drawing lines

If that is the case then I really understand what is going on there for many many things. I do not remember when last time I have seen the pound being that high comparing to usd if that is what you mean, if you have some GBP may try to sell probably.
