I am starting this thread for all of us who are newbies and use Zulu to trade. We can share our experiences, ideas, strategies, as well as top traders we follow here. As newbies we need an extra boost in funds whilst we are learning the ropes. This thread provides a place come to and share our experiences and make life a little easier along the way. Anyone is welcomed but we will keep it clean and polite.
Bump. Im going to start using Zulu this week, or at least try to learn it since I still considered myself new to Forex and Id like to start with a nano sized live account (100-200$).

Welcome to the thread! I think it is relatively simple and there are some interesting account protection features as well. Later today I will publish how I got started but I also tried their demo account with US$10.000 and I made US$741 in a few weeks. I think the key is to be on top of the traders you pick and rotate every now and again whilst you are learning.
Agreed. I might try to do a micro deposit if things seem to work out. Maybe like 200$
What is a Zulu anyway ?
Hi all,
I just started zulutrade a week ago. It’s too early for me to give any advice, but I will briefly describe my current strategy.
I started with $500 USD and use up to 9 open positions (9 mini lots or 9x 0.01 lots). I have the Guard protection on with each trade set to 150 pips max loss (approx 3% of my account).
I have about 10 service providers in rotation, each with 1 or 2 positions max allowed at one time. This way nearly all SPs get a shot in my account.
Half of the SPs are within the top ten (Zulu rank), almost all of which have rock star performance. A couple SPs are veterans who give lower but consistent returns. Nearly all of my SPs have an average trade time of less than 16 hours… My theory is that more trade cycles lend to more stabilized returns, as a matter of statistics.
Currently (day 7) my account is up 30 USD, or 6%. Not bad at all so far.
Hi Seth,
Zulu starts out good and goes bad They don’t post accurate overviews of some of the traders. I am down almost $200 after picking supposed superstars who for the first 10 days gave 15% return and then bang! $200 under deposited startup amount. I am still in there to see what happens,
I like to use Zulu as a singal / indicator … See what every one else it trading . But it quite hard to find any one that doesn’t blow up your account
Cpnforex, I’m sorry to hear that and I hope your account recovers.
I’m hoping to avoid large losses by diversifying across many SPs and limiting each SP to 1 or 2 positions each. But I know even with each trade limited to a max loss of 3% of my portfolio, it wouldn’t take long for a few simultaneous or consecutive large losses wipe out 40% of my portfolio. The better and more seasoned SPs tend to avoid large drawdowns, which is why I include them.
The biggest problem with Zulu is the risk to reward .
To many system hold trade for -100 pips +( most have draw down of 300 ) but hardly any system make 100 pips profit . Mostly they all close the trade 10 pip up and trade again .
There all so worry about commission . And not about making profits .
But best of luck with it .

FYI: those that claim that ‘zulutrade is bad’ in 98% of the cases it comes down to the greedy account management.
