Zulu Trade- Signal Provider Journal

I am a new trader to Zulu and Babypips. I am a Full time successful forex trader who currently manages two accounts and I would like to show proof there are successful traders who practice safe money management techniques who trade their own live account. Unfortunately I wont move up the rankings quickly because Zulu benefits SP’s who trade frequently and often. More so they are playing with fake money. Its not about winning percentage or ranking but its more important that profitability is achieved on a weekly basis. If you have any questions or would like to comment please don’t hesitate to do so. This is an open journal and I welcome everyone to post . I am using this journal to be held accountable for all trades taken.

ZuluTrade - Trader Performance - Capitalinvestmentfx

Welcome capitalfx to the zulutrade community.
Do not get discouraged! Followers always appreciate livemoney accounts rather than the ranking
The motto:" if he puts his money on the line, then he should be a really good trader" does stand.

Appreciate the vote of confidence Eddy. I hope to keep this thread alive along with followers and traders alike. Are you also a Zulu signal provider?

You are most welcome! I am always telling the truth - good or bad.

Nope, I am a follower, and have been following for almost 2 years now, so, I am quite well-acknowledged with the platform and the traders. Is it your first time as a SP? how do you see it? challenging , not?
You know, keeping it engaging with your followers/ potential followers is the must.

Thank you! Its great to meet you Eddy! I’ve been extremely busy with my accounts and assumed Zulu was just another gimmick piece of software. My only issue is that Zulu rewards those traders who open multiple positions per pair at the same time including a martingale approach to trading. Any thoughts or ideas regarding this?

Hello capitalfx,

See I really not idea what you asking me…concerning compensation method…i thought it also has to do with the number of followers, no? I mean this does rise up the ranking ladder, correct me if im wrong…
You know what, imo, dont change your strategy - trade as you trade usually and then you can see what it best for you. Though, most important are the followers and your strategy will be the one that will determine this.

Eddy

I will keep updating the journal with my weekly results and maybe in a few months I will have my first follower. I am however more concerned growing my standard account but I do love Zulu trades website to keep track of my progress so much better then mt4’s lousy accounting interface.

My ranking finally improved from 19000 to 4516. The goal is to be under a 1000 by next week by limiting my trades to two trades per pair. Still unsure how to accomplish such a feat without maximizing trade counts but I don’t want to place any un warranted risk.

Capitalfx,

whatever you wish and whatever your personal free time allows. Any contribution to us, the small zulutrade followers community is welcomed.

good luck trading!

I will end this week on a positive note profitable 224 pips. Ever since I included VSA in my chart analysis my average pip count per week has been increasing. Lets improve upon this weeks performance and shoot for 300 pips next week. I will also only execute 1-2 trades per pair, not three, and stop loss will remain the same.

Right right! So, how is your trading going on this week?
Hope you managed to advance your zulutrade account.

I am currently following For333, SteadyCaptureV and Calipsofx. I was following Alterinvestments, but some of his trades confused me. He’s disabled at the moment but see what he’s like in a longer time frame, would give me more confidence in him.
Who are people following at the moment?

I think you will be fine if you stick to the ranking and follow the top ten.
Also check out whenever the ranking changes, change as well the providers simple as that and this will help you move forward.
right now, i am looking at greenie, fenix7, justletitflow…
yours also looked quite well ! keep us posted!

Hi Eddy,

I did do that at the start, but a lot of the time the ranking has too many pure martingale traders. I got burned quite heavily with SavedFX and karmaspot, as did a lot of people I expect.

Here’s a mini review of the ones i’m currently following:

for333 does have martingale aspects, but normally times the market well. Max 9 trades, but normally only has 2-3 trades open and has been profitable for a long time on zulu.
SteadyCapture (v) is a excellent SP so far, more fundamental then technical it seems.
Calipsofx has a 100 pip stop which i like, similar to Azer (before he went kaput), not 1:1 but is profitable and is low risk with that stop limit. Ill be monitoring him closely. Zuluguard is great for someone like him though.

I am currently monitoring, but not following, S.Investment fx and AlterInvestments.

For me, JLIF has a too small trading history to be followed yet, grreenie seems decent but seemed to have changed strategy along the way to a more riskier model and fenix7 seems to have too small a profit (300) over the last three months compared to a drawdown of 283 imo

Will update my performance on here as and when changes happen.

how about combining profits from all these guys that you think are trading good? follow with small traders and lots, is also an alternative strategy, that can produce you some great results.
Btw, no matter who you follow and how, always use zulu-guard them, and put a limit to the equity you are willing to share on them.
