Who is your broker? I been calling gain capital almost every day to have my money transferred internally. I have a gft account who recently made a business decision to partner with them.
i am with aaafx. havent been with these guys, before i had an account with alpari but didnt like the trading and switched.
So any news on your trading strategies?
hows is the live account registration going on?
I just applied for a new account with gain capital. I did the account transfer form from my current live account but I was told to just open another account. I am real leery about this broker so I am unsure if I should just change broker. I hope everything will be completed by tomorrow.
I am waiting for everything to be set up live to link everything and start fresh. MY live account is up only 5% this month. Demo trading is not for me because i tend to experiment but when it comes to my real money I am more careful.
right, demo trading can get to be a front burner if over-exposed to risk, and it usually this is the case, not because of the psychological aspect of the trading but of the simple fact that large hypothetical values can actually make it resilient to margin callsā¦generally talking of course. bumper with the accountā¦im so sorry to hear that, the issue has been going on for quite some time now as i presume.
I am almost there eddy. Live Mt4 is set up and tried to link it to zulu today. Server needs to be changed with Gain in order for it to work.

ask though anything you wish for, keep in mind followers can get a bit nasty when a trader go off rails.
Sorry gkawa - Iāve been away. I hear you regarding the demo account. I would probably use it for the purpose of learning different techniques to either support or reject trading ideas. Wouldnāt the demo account give you an idea of the success or failure rate and to help refine your trading technique?
i doubt demo will helpā¦best scenario as always stands when one risk its own money ā¦meaning from a life account that straigthens success rate
So gkawa22 you followed my advice and started to link your live account to zulutrade? Well done ! Live account holders are always welcomed to zulu.
Faxed paperwork to switch the servers on my mt4 gain account from Live 7 to server live 2,3, or 5 as suggested by Zulu customer service. I dont understand why they dont support all servers. I am hoping all of this wont be a waste of time. I started another zulu account just to do live trades only however i wont start it until everything is linked properly. I dont want any bad habits forming from trading a demo account as such. When everything is completed I will start my daily updates again.
I go off my rocker every time i trade demo but i noticed it affected my live trading as well. I am usually patient awaiting setups but when it comes to demo I jump into a trade without any confirmations because i know i have virtual monies on the line, not anything at risk.
Demo accounts can help if you have the mindset of trading a real account. Most will treat it as a experimental platform to try different things. Once you try one strategy, you are onto something else and wasting so much time in the process. This is great if you arenāt profitable but if you are, I would go with a live account even if its a small deposit.
you have a point, thought, demo is not the most trustworthy account to follow - from a followerās point of view live accounts are followed even when they might be loosing.
Sorry my friend this account situation is driving me nuts. A customer rep at Gain tells me it canāt be done then another tells me to submit the paperwork.

Yeap changing broker and starting out a fresh live account there might be a good solution ,its a ptiy that you couldnt do it with your former one , i never knew that linking to a live account could be such a pain.
Yes it still hasnāt been done. I will just concentrate on my live account for now. I started a new zulu account to link live but i am using it for demo puposes. I will still update my progress on zulu. Trading the GBPUSD pair has been a challenge this week being extremely choppy and no direction. I have the eurjpy pair as another one to trade. I am currently down 31 pips on my real account and demo. I apologize for starting a new account as I wanted to make a fresh start attached to my current live MT4.
