ZuluTrade - any opinions?

it is a platform where people can follow professional traders trading and benefit from their opening positions.
open a demo to see for yourself.

Think of zulutrade as a selection platform for EAs.

not exactly as not all traders use EAs…it is indicated in their profile, when this is the case.

The profiles can sometimes be misleading as they can say a person is using an EA when they are not.

Looks like Acute FX is doing well with his signals - ZuluTrade - Signal Provider Performance - Acute FX

Here’s an update of my perforamce:

27th +$31 float -$34 Float – pleased with result
Cumulative +$143 Bal $2,467 +6.1% (open bal $2,325 11th Jun)

28th -$52 float -$28 Float – hard work, we’ll be here all day but least it’s steady – trying to set a format going forward – will stick with this for now and see what we learn along the way
Cumulative +$91 Bal $2,415 +3.9% (open bal $2,325 11th Jun)

29th +$93 float -$39 Float – better – let’s hope that float blows over or is better’d by profits early in the week
Cumulative +$184 Bal $2,508 +7.9% (open bal $2,325 11th Jun)

My current team are:
yf68
yamatofx2vera
Yamato FX ver.A
TradeGuru
denganyouqianle
BigTen4EX (recent addition)

My settings are:

  1. SL 150 (basic management)
  2. 0.1 std lots – i.e. 1 pip = $1 - at $2,400 std lots = 0.1 - will increase std lots to 0.11 once reach balance $2,600 (hopefully)
  3. Max open lots = 0.2 – i.e. no more than 2 trades per SP (stops averaging – although my SP should not be averaging anyhow)

Recent changes:
I dropped “for333” recently on the grounds of averaging – if you look at his recent history for333 did very well and his average 6 positios paid off handsomely – BUT please be aware that this is not the point – for333’s positions could just have easily gone the wrong way and then your facing the wipe out that ruined co-fx-24 and forex cruise.
Forex is about steady gains, not gains at any cost – otherwise it’s more like gambling and you will loose your capital.

Thank you - Sean

I will recommend you to add GREEN STAIRS, Run Winners Cut Losers and Pelason

Eddy I tried RWCL for a while because I liked his presentation but I don’t think he is profitable enough and simply prefer to allow margin for those ones I see with steady results. My recent new entry is sex&money and at the moment in my account he is my best performer.

intersting choice, i thing i remember seeing this SP again somewhere. added up to test on demo and we will see

Update to my portfolio:

BigTen4EX - lot size reduced from 2 to 1 trade due to continually opening 2 trades within 15 secs of each other - ie effectively doubling up on same trade.

The traders I’m using are:
yf68
yamatofx2vera
Yamato FX ver.A
TradeGuru
denganyouqianle
BigTen4EX

Careful with SP who’ve been trading for less than 30 weeks.
Sean

In zulutrade, am following zuluProfitReturn, yf68, xiaozha111 and TradeGuru

30 weeks imho is reasonable but there you can find some good SP with lesser time trading. my time frame limit is 12 weeks.

Please see my latest results and advice on:

I also agree that it is vital to check how much time trader has been trading but that doesnt mean we should discard new traders. uaxtg2x this guy show some potential , will look closely for his performance.

no, no , actually on the contrary, new traders have the tendency to trade bit ‘better’ as to attack followers so to say.

I agree with you completely, and I have to say that my best performer in the last three weeks is a young system, sex&money , check it. Steady gains each day. Will he be and emerging star?

Erm… I see what you’re saying guys but I’ve got 6 SP’s who are delivering - it only takes one loose cannon to kill all the good work… like Ive said Ive already had my fingers burnt by a SP who had traded for 12 weeks, all good but then hit problems and did not manage it at all well…

Sean

Wish you better luck , its really unlucky that one provider burnt so much profit gained from 6 SP’s

Hi Bigscud… it’s all a learning curve, I know that we’re all scratching around for the best Zulu SPs - Im now on 7 - for me it’s all about choosing traders who are able to match your acceptable risk appetite.

It’s taken me a while, but through trial and error I believe I’ve learnt how to “read” the key indicators which make the all the difference - the stats that Zulu provide are very useful - but it’s key to dig deeper and look at performance best and worst for example…

If you’d like to know who my team are and why I choose them I’d be more than happy to let you know.

Good luck,
Sean

Meseany who are your sps?
