Babypips teaches to make money, now needs money

What’s the problem with that? Plenty of sites do that. You think they’re here doing all this for free?

Why are you even here? You’re like the other complainer. Always crying like a baby.

Sites that teach how to make money want donations? Babypips mgmt is packed full of losers

Hi @EmeraldEyes and @mrhenry8th,

Just want to neutralize, cooling down the heat.

Everyone is free to give arguments, but still we are human, need to be socialize. This term means we need to respect each other feeling. We are here coming from different backgrounds, some will be very sensitive to particular words and tones. I am Asian, part of my country has a very sensitive people. We have to be careful to communicate with them. We need to know the culture before hand, otherwise, it can be a life-threatening situation.

BabyPips is a place for all traders to meet online. All features are here given free. Even it’s free, there are operational cost need to be paid periodically. Server, Co-Location, Dedicated Server are not cheap. That’s normal if Babypips provides a way to accept donation for others. Donation means, it’s not profit making. If we don’t want to give donation, don’t need to do anything. But don’t hurt others feeling as well, please be humble.

I was one of Debian Linux Developers. I maintained a package in Debian. I was a volunteer. I didn’t get paid, but when a donation come, it didn’t even close to pay my works alone. But we appreciated every single donation to make Debian today. In case you don’t know what is Debian, Debian is one of biggest Linux Distribution, an open source project. Most servers are using Debian Linux. I am still involving with few open source projects. I just want to say, Donation is Normal. We, as developer, don’t even get a single penny of it. We help others make money, we are not stupid, Donation is part of others who want to participate in supporting us. We are frequently got harassment from others, telling if you are so brilliant why you guys are bagging for donations.
The leader told them, If you are willing to give us donation we are very very appreciating it. If you are not willing, just shut your f…king mouth off

I had told before, I was in a telegram group. I shared knowledge there, some of them asked me if I received payment. I told them, I just wanted to have fun. Some of them, insisted, wanted to pay me. Then in the end they paid , some of them gave me big.

When others knew I received money, some of them made up story and gave shoot sarcastic words. In the end, I was quit from the group.

I just want to have a good place to meet other traders. We are human, need place to socialize. I don’t like a place that everyone fight each others. We need to know thing clearly, before we tell something. If we just want to hurt each other, lets have a meet. I believe a punch and kick will taste better compare to just words.

My point is be humble. Be a bigger person, willing to know what the background are.
There is nothing good to be badmouthing. Perhaps, we are still young enough, so we don’t mind about what will happens. Getting older, the bad habits will hardened, If you still have it, everyone will avoid you, no one will help you … don’t regret.

Somebody didn’t have their morning coffee. :grinning:

That donation messaging isn’t new. We’ve been running that for well over a year now. The “losers” over here were fulfilling a request from the community, members like yourself who’ve used the site and maybe benefited from the content or the community, who wanted to give back directly with a donation.

We’re nearing 20 years in business. In most parts of the world, that’s probably an achievement. We think so.

Feel free to give something back, if you feel so inclined. Or don’t. It’s completely voluntary and we appreciate any amount given.

Thanks!

Everyone here loses their own hard-earned money because of the trash content which is taught to them. Babypips is sponsored by retail brokers who will only continue to pay for ads as long as the content posted benefits them by syphoning retail traders to their platforms and teaching them how to play their version of a casino game.

If the Eikon or Bloomberg you’re using costs too much, go free on the News. Takes a few mins to find that Twitter has analysts that post them all for free within seconds of the release.

It would go far if Babypips had real traders showing real statistics to give them an idea of what it’s really like instead of feeding them this unattainable financial dream which they’ll statistically never achieve.

Hi @EmeraldEyes, first at all I respect your opinions. I am not standing on your side neither on Babypips’

I’ll talk only base on experiences rather than opinion or assumption. I make responses to your statements just to give balance, to let others BP’s members have more perspective to digest every information in here. I have no hard feeling with you :innocent:

You are correct here. But, it is happened everywhere. If we know the proper thing, that will be our responsibility to guide our other fellows traders. Why? I have been in Trading for more then 20 years. I had became mentor, broker’s operator, consultant and now, I’m an active fund manager. My position as a fund manager is by accident, helping a friend of a close friend.
Others who are losing money, mostly because of greed and laziness. I believe this statement will hurt many others. I sincerely apologize to all of you.
Just have a thought, who do ask you to put money that big for trading? who do ask you to use a trading strategy without first validate it? Who do ask you to trust a mentor unconditionally?
Most people who have the same opinion / thoughts like you, have the same bad experiences. I’m included, no exceptions.

Yes, that is correct. One of BP’s incomes is from advertising. Nothing wrong with that. Every one of us love money. Making money is one of our “duty” in this world. Nothing to be shame about it. Similar to breathing and eating. This is a very common activity.

BabyPips provides contents for us to learn. This services will generate costs. What ever the content is, the idea is having a community for traders. Just like forex factory, trading view and others. For beginner, BP is considered having a good route map for education. I can guarantee, if a trader can follow instructions here, set aside the greed and laziness, they will be profitable but not great. At least, this is a fundamental a trader must have.

Finally, don’t challenge others. :slightly_smiling_face:
Every one of us are showing our trading statistics here. Some has intention to grab investors, some just for fun. I share my statistics for having fun only. It’s not good to share our stats and make others jealous. They will find a way to attack us back, accusing the result is fake. It will be a never ending story.

You and I are sharing our trade explorer in Forex Factory. I was accused many time, they were fake. Did they blind, not seeing the Account Type as Live?

As a beginner, they get knowledge from everywhere. BabyPips is one of them. I was one of them, I learned something from BigPippin with his Cowabunga around 2007.
The strategy itself is moderate, but it taught me how to build a quantitative trading methodology.

Have a good day @EmeraldEyes … let dig more pips today

I don’t respect his opinions. He’s the one who sounds like a loser. Literally. Like somebody who ran into the markets and got whipped.

Speaking only for myself, I couldn’t be more grateful to Babypips and their Pipsology school for teaching me the basics about currency markets.

I first waded into CFDs, then currency futures, using the knowledge I gained from this priceless FREE resource, which was referred to me by the most brilliant CFD forex trader I’ve ever seen… a humble and down to earth guy who’s designated as one of 4 expert technical analysts of a third party online forum with more than 70,000 members. He himself learned from the Pipsology school.

The only trash on this site is the baseless nonsense the original poster and others like him brought into the forums.

Babypips: many, many thanks for all you’ve done and do!

No one is owed a high quality education in how to make money from trading. No one is guaranteed profits. No one is forced to trade with real money. Traders who lose money bear sole responsibility for their own decisions.

Any trader who tries to shift that responsibility will continue to lose money.

This begs the questions:

Why would a “real trader” want to provide statistics? What does he/she gain by doing this?

Traders are warned ad nauseum that the financial dream is statistically unattainable: 95% lose money trading

Sorry, but traders don’t lose because of “trash content” or don’t get enough statistics from real traders as they have access to the same content, information and statistics as the 5% that do succeed. It’s a level playing field.

Most traders lose for 1 simple reason: they are unwilling or unable to do what’s needed, i.e. take the time to learn and develop actual trading skills before stepping into an arena that doesn’t coddle the unprepared, unskilled and unaware.

No amount of statistics or high quality content from “real traders” can transform a losing trader’s mind into doing what’s needed.

BP is in the service industry - they offer a service (foc) & in return they get ad revenue - quid pro quo.

Guys get value from the service, some more than others & some get none - just like all service industry players.

Pipstradamus mentions that they have been offering this service almost 20 years - and emerald gives a neg review - I’m now into my 45th year of business (service & product) and I still get the odd neg review.

Such is business - you cannot be liked by them all

Look at my posts. If you were a profitable trader, you would have bragged about it by now instead of commenting about John Doe “the most brillant CFD forex trader I’ve ever seen”. Baseless nonsense.

You are a prime example as shown in your posts. Your threads are exactly what BabyPips has taught you. Random gambling, pursuing unattainable goals.

100% of retail traders make money trading. 95% of them just can’t prove it.

Babypips does not teach anything new. Each one of the Education pages contain an average of 3 Forex scam/Forex.com ads. The more pages one visits, the more views the ads receive, the more money BP makes.

Tell that to the founders of BabyPips… maybe they just needed to take the time to learn  They are living proof that there is more money to be made outside of Forex than inside Forex.

Their next income is begging for Donations.

Through online connections, I was hired by a Forex News startup site in 2012. Moderated chat, fundamental analysis, and live news reporting for Asian markets. My boss bought us Reuter’s Eikon to use. To pay for the site, Eikon, my paychecks, he traded FX and had been very successful. There’s no reason why BP can’t assemble a team to trade FX to pay for themselves and expansion. Right now, they’re just a referral funnel for Forex.com & Oanda.com

I just expose Forex Charlatans as a hobby. All charlatans go broke, like their founders did back when you registered here. Not a negative review, but don’t ever trust a Forex site that teaches traders how to make money, then asks for donations.

   Just sad you’re unable to trade to make that money. Instead, pulling it out of the only people that are responsible for Ad revenue clicks/views.
