Dont worry about those kinda posts. Those guys most likely Havent purchased Megadroid and are just looking for trouble. The regulars of us online with this blogg, know our MD better than most! AND we are still learning every day. I have owned several bots and so far this is the best one on my settings with my broker. Keep up the good reporting! WE all DO wanna hear about Megadroid and how your doing with it.
I am going to try and blow a $75000 account using MDP starting this week. All settings will be default, but the risk setting will be 100%. I will update you guys weekly on what happens. In the meantime, check out Forex Robots - The Best Forex Robots in Live Trading Competition. The MD is ahead with a 781% gain in 180 days. The risk setting that they use is 75%.
How did the 100% risk work out with back testing? Wont it hit an Error if it cant double up on a loss? Cant double a 100% risk when it has its first loss.

You see the thing is, MD does not risk the % that have been selected. It is actually much less. The analysis snapshots that I posted earlier was on a risk setting of 50%. The maximum risk was only 23%. The average risk was 7.35%.
you posted a snapshot of an account running MD PRO version on multiple pairs.
In that version it is correct, that the risk is divided by the number of pairs used by a simple factor derived from the Global Variables. i.E 75% /5=15% risk per pair per trade and slightly more or less, if your margin requirement is converted into deposit currency.
But in this thread, we are talking mainly about the standard MD version, which trades only 1 pair.
If you set the risk too high in the standard version you are in fact risking per trade the percentage entered.
i hav bought MD three days back.
i have set it up on forex.com demo but no trades.
i know it doesnt trade everyday.
but how do i confirm whether i have set it up properly or not.
also i monitored opâs and wendyâs account which use md and no trades there either.
so how can i just make sure i have configured it right?
What gives you the right to be so elitist? the heading on this thread which i sincerely doubt you started is simply Forex Megadroidâno versions excluded.
I welcome the insights on all versions.
There are substantial differences in pairs, results and availability.
Early MD Pro versions crashed MT4 frequently, i am not aware that this has changed since than, so maybe worth to check your MT4 more often than not.
While there are live trading results available from MD of well over a year now, very few traders continued MD Pro after a rather dismal performance right after the release.
Tests of MD Pro got abandoned rather swiftly.
If a poster like ladder makes a comment and posts a setting and in addition refers to a website, which tests MD, but posts an account statement with MD Pro, confusion can easily arise. Specially, if a setting is posted along with it, belonging to MD Pro and beeing highly dangerous for MD.
So i saw the need to comment.
Please get used to the rather âelitistâ use of the english language in the Kingdom. If you do not like it, please do not read my posts.
Info on the Proversion of MD almost made me change some major settings on my larger cash account. Im glad someone made note that this is not the same software with additional name tacked to it (PRO). If it doesnt function and work the same, the pro version info could be dangerous to all of us. I like to read about the Pro version, but it should include info thats its the Pro version thats being talked about, so we dont make un- needed changes to our prefectly working good accounts.
Im very proud of my current MD set up and will be glad to share what I have experieced so far. Over 44 wins in a row so far. I quit counting the wins, a few trades back.
With megadroid and stealth mode, does it really matter if the broker has a dealing desk?
I just came across a broker headquartered in Panama but operations offices in NY --eforex-- offering 1 pip rebates per std lot equivalent but they have a desk.
