So what exactly is the difference between megadroid and megadroid pro?
I will appreciate it if someone who owns both versions ( Lagger?) will be nice enough to set up 2 demo’s with the same broker and settings, and connect it with myfxbook. So we can actually compare the results between MD and MDP.
Because as far as I know they just added 2 pairs to megadroid, called it the pro version, added it as a bonus to some other garbage EA’s that they were selling so they could make a quick buck.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Hi Guys, I just joined this forum and (perhaps premature) feel that the system has a strange risk management approach as it seem to make horrific losses at times (compared to however %age profitable trades).
I have as an example seen this demo account MT4Live.com - Share Your MT4 Statements Free
and you can observe strings of BIG losses that would wipe out many accounts if you happen to start trading at that point (kind of a montecarlo testing)?
Am I wrong to say that the system seems to be a good scalper in general but allow huge losses which are not in tune with a scalping system?
Again, I have not tried the system and look forward to hear what your thoughts are.
md took a trade on my demo account.
long at 1.2534.
hit sl at 1.2500
whereas in op and wendyL’s account both wining trades.
so did i do something wrong in setting up the bot?
my demo account wiped by 12%
I had both short and long…so one winner and my first loss in over 47 trades. Mine went long 2 minutes before MD stops trading, I walked away when the short closed thinking that was it…when I come back  , lol. The S/L was quite close (< 30 pips), if it was a bit bigger (10 pips) it would have closed with at least a B/E…not complaining though, its been a good run.
his were both profitable though.
i havent heard anyone having the same trade last night.
what i am asking is,did it take the loosing trade bcoz some of my mistake in setting it up?
I don’t think anyone could have lost short as at the time it never went high enough to hit a S/L. My short was @ 1.25430 and my loss was long @ 1.25369, I think those who had winners long might have closed their positions manualy but don’t quote me at that. MD is very broker sensitive so there can be many different trades at the one time, not always but it does happen.
On some MT4 platforms the EA attaches, but on other platforms it does not. I am really battling to get this set up. I want to set up 2 or 3 accounts so that we can all follow it on MT4pips.
I only have MD Pro so we can play around with the risk settings only, I think. I do not want to change the GMT offset, because it trades during the start of the Asian session when volatility is low.
What settings do you want me to use?
Most importantly, why does it attach sometimes and sometimes it does not? Did anyone have the same problem yet?
Last night one loss and hit SL on Forex broker and one win on IBFX broker. I have them both set to auto and zero on the hrs.
I know for a fact that IBFX is zero and that seems to work the best so far.
Forex traded the opposite direction than IBFX. Very strange…
Also to let those know that mt4pips works great for graphing your trades and its free while in beta. Takes a bit of time to load the graphs, but its worth the wait. {Administrator may edit for content}
