The best indicator!

Is it true there are no such things like the best indicator. There is not a single indicator that is better than any other or that can guarantee my profits! What is the purpose of each indicator? What they serve and how to use them correctly? Indicator types how many of them? How much can I learn?

The only indicator I use at all times is the ATR but it’s used for money management rather than trade entry. Check out this video if you want to learn how to use it.

I agree with @cashisking86 on this. Everyone will have their own choice of indicators that they find best. I started with a stochastic oscillator and bollinger bands. These are the 2 I learnt first when I started trading on my first ever account on trading 212. Now with fxview I tend to use RSI more. So I don’t think there’s any 1 particular indicator that every trader ought to know and use all the time.
