He said he’d always have the same email…

This always makes me laugh. I find that the non natural English speaking people have better grammar and sentences than the native English speakers.

PM’d you the new twitter, didn’t want to post it here incase I get shown the door by “Mod-ley Crew”

EDIT: Scrub that, I can’t PM you, when you activate the PM send me a PM and I’ll reply.

Could you PM me the new Twitter too? Thanks!

just check out his new alias ICT_MHuddleston

I think it’s somewhere in this thread, just look for it.

Lol… Well, I pass the GED Test so I guess I am good :)…I’ll take that as a compliment. Thanks!

Is it logical to consider short term risk sentiment separate from long term?

If so, I would argue that there is a long term risk on scenario except last week gave us a short term risk off

I would consider L-T Risk Sentiment to be defined by direction of currency, stock, bond, commodities on the daily / weekly charts, while S-T Risk Sentiment to be the particular sentiment of a certain week.

Does that make sense??? Can I do that??? haha.

I see this as convenient because we should make sure to place trades that concur with both short term and long term risk sentiment, so if they do not match at any one time then I would argue wait until they match. (Or if you´re sly do some contrarian trades yes?)

YES??? Maybe I just made myself more confused. Is there anywhere this has been discussed?

Glad this thread is open I love following it.

hi Micheal,
you are a good man and i believe you are a good trader and will make it to a substantial money amount on the 1mil account…but i am not buying into those white lies you served lately.
the medium trading results in the first 2 weeks //which in my book were fine - capital preservation as number 1 priority// turned your act into a mess where you substantially turned the whole thing into a cover up of it being all intentional.
i am not going into discussion with anybody over it //bits and pieces of what parts are those white lies//. i just wanted to get off my chest because i believed in yr high standards as a righteous man,for real…
oh well. i can call it an internet life or just a life.

This is so correct - your post encapsulates exactly my argument in the difference in being an analyst and a trader.

My own analysis of the euro on Thur past led me to understand that the Euro should fall after Draghi’s talk (various reasons)

So the analyst in me was completely bearish - the trader, on the other hand could not simply go short with a reasonable stop on Wed night ( if only it were so simple) - the trader is in a battle with his opponent - the opposite side of his trade - both want to win, there can only be one winner.
So into the equation comes the rules of war - the opposing side (often termed smart money) can control the short term price, they can do no more, your (my) anaylsis remains correct, it is well researched, all they can do is try to throw you off, make you think you got it wrong.

So what do they do on Thur morning - check and see - that was their usual move - one live news feed analyst was saying ‘no news, I cannot understand why fibre is rising’ - my ICT learning taught me why.

So yes - I seperate the two, longer tern analysis and shorter term trading strategy, the second being the more difficult (they do’nt get the name ‘smart’ for nothing)

ICT, I just started studying your videos a few months ago. I watch them repeatedly and take notes. It has given me a new perspective on trading and allowed me to relax and slow down. It has even been beneficial to my marriage, believe it or not, by putting us more on the same page!! I BEG YOU, PLEASE RE-POST THE VIDEOS SOMEWHERE!!! I BEG YOU!! I feel like I’ve missed out on so much!! (P.S. I tried to send you an email, not sure if it worked.)

Hey Naethoven, I’m not ICT but I can repeat what he said in a recent video ’ the material in not going anywhere’, so be cool, that amount of knowledge just does’nt disappear, it will be back.

In the meantime post in here, we are using the concepts on a daily basis, each asking and answering and learning off each other.

Thanks Peterma! Looking forward to it!

LOL. So in a nutshell… This guy created a live account where everyone could see the results and he ended up doing terribly?

looks like ict is going to continue with the account. lets see what the account balance will be at the end of the month (he said 30% gain). so, that’s the next checkpoint to throw more stones  but until then it would be nice for everybody to not talk about ICT the person in this thread anymore, but about trading setups based on ICT’s concepts. like it has been for almost the whole thread.

not just directed at you MG, you just happened to have the last post regarding that matter.

thank you

Hi Guys don’t usually post much, but do my fair bit of lurking.

I attended the recent workshop in London and whilst separating with £2k including hotel and travel wasn’t cheap, I feel it represented good value for what we received.

I have not been to any other seminars so I had nothing to compare it to, my trading is based around Michaels teachings and Chris’s DVD courses.

The workshop introduces several new concepts that integrate nicely into my trading.

Chris gave us lots of ideas for exercises with the aim to develop our understanding of the market at a deeper level and thus aid us in becoming independent thinkers, this for me is the most important part, being a developing trader.

If you do not want to invest the hours in front of charts both old and live doing these exercises don’t waste your money on the workshop, go get a nice holiday or something, because the workshop is just the beginning.

Another cool thing about the workshop was during the breaks just chatting with others who are in the same boat as you and bouncing ideas off each other, I gained a lot just from that.

Post workshop, confidence and results have improved, I just wish I could make it to Florida for the next one, but certainly when Chris and Maria return to the UK I will be in attendance.

hi skibbatechno,
a good understanding of the market is important for good results, and the ability to bounce ideas and improve by learning from others is one of the best benefits. One question, since the workshop is just the beginning, could you mention the beginning of what, is this a series of workshops over time and is there a timeline for progress and whether there is an end, and how long would it take.
'm asking because there seems to be many things to learn and improvement is possible,
thank you

Hi IbePippin,

For me its the beginning of the exercises which will take me a long time to complete (possibly years) but I am ok with that.

I don’t have a timeline for my trading, I have submitted to it taking as long as it takes. I have other businesses for income and are not looking to move into full time trading any time soon.

The exercises are about finding that one trade per instrument that you love and can repeat over and over again, once you have found this you can move on to finding a second trade and so on.

There were a couple of guys who were attending their second workshop as they felt they would absorb more the second time round, which makes sense because its a lot to take in. The price for retakes is a lot less so this was probably a deciding factor for them.

There are many things to learn out there but for me the combination of ICT and Chris’s teaching suit me and my personality, previous to this I spent a year learning a mechanical system based on indicators and that did not work for me.

As far as I know there is no end in trading, the top traders always want to refine their approach and improve on themselves, they are always a work in progress, this is the mindset I have.

It may take me several weeks/months/years to become the trader I want to be but I do not place any pressure on myself to develop, it will take as long as it takes, we are all different.

Hope you found this helpful,

Skib

too slow…

I watch ICT threads from the sidelines and take no sides, but SOMEHOW MG99 was right - ICT will be attending that workshop as a guest speaker.
