I am willing to take that risk
Oh no, ENG.
Game def getting better with that first goal!
FOOTBALLāS COMING HOME! (please allow post)
yes, 100000000000000000000000000%
Beckham was def great in terms of football - he was a midfielder - not a glory position in terms of media but from a managerās pov there are very few better.
Known for his range of passing, crossing ability and bending free-kicks as a right winger , Beckham has been hailed as one of the greatest and most recognisable midfielders of his generation, as well as one of the best set-piece specialists of all time.

Then of course there is this - accept the cookies, they are worth it:
David Beckham goal from halfway line against Wimbledon in 1996 | Manchester United (manutd.com)
Iām wondering how old you are, respectfully. He was awesome from the free kick and long range passing.
I grew up watching Beckhams era and he was no Scholes, Lampard or Gerrard on the pitch.
My original reference to Beckham to which @jessoprules responded was that he was pretty damn mediocre against many international sides.
His āBeckham specialā wasnāt that great and his ball control was not up to the standard of even most South American Sunday pub team players.
He was pretty good but far from āworld classā but then again Iām a Man City fan so would say that wouldnt I?
What a start!
I agree tbh. Good player for sure but he was only the 4th best English midfielder of his generation, let alone other generations.
never came home
Iāll go with good. Was just trying to make a point that he want mediocre.
And what a finish yesterday. Sad for England. Not sure why Southgate brought on Rashford and Sancho simply for penalities, basically cold.
Huge fan of Saka. They will all rebound, but with a sting that will last forever.
I didnāt watch the game - far too late where I am here in Thailand.
Ironically the Monday morning coincided with me applying for my shiny new blue Brexit passport.
But Iām reading the press and itās all over the controversy over knee taking, Priti Patel, and poor old Marcus Rashford.
I totally cant abide by racism, but I - as I think many in the UK believe - BLM and WOKENESS generally is nothing more than hard left tactic of cultural Marxism - and should not get the any attention among British footballers.
Interestingly the viewer stats of major US sporting events have fallen off a cliff since it became cool to disrespect the national anthem.
I hope all this nonsense sorts itself out soon one way or the other.
Being turned off by kneeling or not kneeling, standing or not standing, is silly to me, but do what you have to do. Go grab a pint while that happens. Donāt watch. Itās your choice. Be happy you have a choice.
But even last year in the US, ALL sports ratings and viewership were down, whether there was social justice messaging or not. Golf, horse racing, hockey, some of the biggest losers, even more so than US football and basketball. Thereās more media to consume and things grabbing out attention.
You missed a good tactical matchup.
yes i take back the negative comments unlucky lads ,lots of great individual performances look a proper "team " for once
First touch of the game in a penalty shoot out never going to go well.
I am actually not a fan of Saka, I think he was massively out of his depth in the semi and the final. He has potential for sure though.
Fair play to him for taking a penalty though, big balls to do that.
So if your children are throwing Tantrums and destroying furniture in your house - You will āGo to the Pubā and leave them to get on with it ?
Not sure why Southgate brought on Rashford and Sancho simply for penalities, basically cold.
It seems / seemed simply political to me - Woke stupidity !
Yes what he said was correct - āItās MY faultā !
Hereās a little vid which explains what is really going on here
- And in the world in General
