He should have told her ĀØIāll come mow your lawn as soon as Iām done here, maāam. Ok?ĀØ

Very nice!!
I just watched it for the 4th time. It gets better every time!!!
It seems that more and more people think they have an automatic right to comment and give their opinion on more and more things. Which donāt directly concern them. And fewer and fewer people are worth listening to.
In a situation like that, itās advisable not to squander your time and energy and proceed forward.
Locked up in Peruās deadliest jail: Aussie drug muleās untold story
Deep inside one of Peruās most notorious prisons, 27-year-old Australian Bronwyn sits convicted of drug trafficking after being caught with a suitcase full of cocaine, her heartbreaking story is a chilling warning for young travellers.
What do you attribute that to, @tommor ?
I suppose the example came from 24hr TV news reporters, who felt the need to commentate on everything that had already finished happened in a street or building behind them, but they had to be there at the scene, even though there was nothing to see by this point. A real waste of TV air-time.
But then everybody got a video camera and their own TV station through their smartphone and, raised on wall to wall TV news, they thought that was the thing to do. Which is why they need to photograph themselves standing in front of interesting things, rather than looking at those interesting things.
All the while there is the constant drive to describe what is happening even though itās obvious, and to describe oneās feelings, even though these are of no interest to anyone.
Thanks. All good reasons - I understand (and agree).
I think your reasons maybe have a common feature of āmore people commenting about more stuff than used to happen,ā so perhaps the voices really worth listening to are both fewer (as a proportion) and harder to identify (among all the noise)?
My grandparents also regularly tell me that fewer and fewer people are worth listening to nowadays, but they attribute it mostly to a decline in educational standards and say that ānobodyās been to a proper school, these daysā!
I think theyād agree with your reasons, too.
Denial is a natural response at times when youre unable or unwilling to face the facts, You can be in denial about something youāre not ready to admit or take on, or something that challenges deeply held beliefs. Reality deniers may not be unintelligent, but they are irrational.
All opinions are welcome
