I’ve been playing around with the strategy tester and like how you are able to view how a candle progresses. My question is, how do I manually view a candle being formed without having to use the strategy tester? By that I mean, I want to be able to see historical data of how a candle was formed.
I don’t like the strategy tester because you are forced to use an expert adviser, and you cannot move the chart at your own pace, only press play.
Anyone know of a way to do what I’m asking?

I have an indicator that can show the candle that formed on a higher timeframe as a result of the candles that formed on a currenty lower t/f chart…so on a M1 chart, it shows the outline of the H1 candles if that’s what you configured it to.CUSTOMCANDLE.zip (8.99 KB)

Do you know if there is any way to progress faster in the simulation? If I use a speed of 31, the charts move about 1 candle every like 30 seconds which is too slow. If I use 32, the chart moves like 15 candles in 1 second which is too fast.
You could try a adding a couple of indicators…that seems to slow 32 down some.
What timeframe did you select to run it on?
I selected it to run on the 15 minute time frame.
