Intend to read this one:
Day Trading the Currency Market: Technical and Fundamental Strategies To Profit from Market Swings
Forget the technical stuff.
Learn how to be a trader.
Mark Douglas “Trading In the Zone”.
reminiscences of a stock operator
I’m surprised nobody has said Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques by Steve Nison
Forex trading books are a good way to go but I also recommend reading broker reviews, chatting with other traders, doing research on the trading conditions etc. Never invest a penny unless you’ve tried a broker’s demo account as well. FxPro have a good one and also have a great knowledge base if you’re interested.
is that a good book? do you also apply what it teaches?
This is right up there with Mark Douglas’ works. It is titled Why You Lose At Trading.
Well HERE’S one that few people know about YET:
‘New Trader FAQ’s’ (New Trader FAQs: Experienced Trades and Market Professionals Answer the Questions New Traders Ask Most Frequently) by none other than our very own ‘rhodytrader’!!! I wish this type of book was around five years ago!!!
And NO I’m not in ‘cahoots’ or trying to advertise here either (as a matter of fact he can be a bit ‘dry’ but he knows what he’s talking about). It’s a good book and I PAID for it so do not delete this post!!! If you’re just getting started: it’ll save you LOADS of time AND money AND frustration!!! And EVEN IF I was in ‘cahoots’ (which I’m not): John has contributed WAY more than is ‘fair share’ here so a bit of ‘leeway’ would be in order in my opinion!!!
MOVING ON: ‘Mastering The Trade’ by John F. Carter is one ‘HELLUVA’ book. And OF COURSE: ‘New Concepts In Technical Trading Systems’ by ‘the old man’ (J. Welles Wilder Jnr.). Nothing more needs to be said about THIS book. And, of course, there are NUMEROUS books by Larry Williams. WANNA trade the S&P or commodities??? ‘Larry is your man’!!!
Regards,
Dale.
the itself seems appealing to traders who are currently experiencing failures in trading.
you can also check this book if you like.
