Well unfortunately yes & no…I entered too high and too early and got stopped out. Then went to bed and missed it

I’m very anti-EA too. Not that my opinion matters. Great for latency arb and very good at giving money to the banks. Or to maybe to manage trades set by the trader.

hehe, maybe I dont know. I only got this EA on a demo. as Shultz got me to try one for the first time ever, like 5 days ago. Only took 10 years of persuadance, to get me to try it out…
so if you trade the break this is what to expect in a week of how your zones will look. Note on every trade how important the 20 was and the 200 in the direction of the break out…
SO IN A WAY THE RANGE SET BY CLOSE OF NEW YORK AND THEN THE RANGE ESTABLISHED BY TOKYO ARE IN SIMPLE TERMS A RANGE BOUND PIVOT THAT THE TREND WILL START FROM ON A DAILY BASIS
i look at gold , take note of it…not so concerned with correlations of currencies to currencies.

Thanks Dennis, your Squeeze-Strategy worked great for me so far. I’m also using the JForex-Platform from Dukascopy and I wrote a small Java EA, to automate the process. Those are trades that I backtested with the automated Java strategy over the past month on EUR/USD:
Overall EA is profitable, but do you have an idea to improve the EA to avoid trades 1, 3 and 4?
Of course I would be willing to share the EA with you

I could try give it a try as long it is Java-Based, I don’t use MetaTrader it doesn’t have a Mac OS X version.

Nice work, ok we can nail down this EA , if you can use the time zone indicator from dukas platform. delete all time zones on it just show new york close tokyo open tokyo close, post the chart…i wlll analyse and send back to you with comments what we need to do…thanks man
