Political Opinion

It’s not a lithium ion battery tho…There is renewable energy all around u, geothermal, sun, wind, ocean waves… All we need is to start utilizing it instead of clinging to the dead plants and animals goo to keep us running…Yes, the storage of this energy is the main problem atm…There are houses with increasingly cheaper solar panels mounted on them that have to sell excess energy during the day and buy from the grid when the night falls because we still use **** batteries…

What about apartments, condos, towers, factories, warehouses? Not all the places people live see enough sun.
Not too mention with a growing population, growing up seems like it will be more common place than growing out.

You didn’t look at my pretty picture? SEGS is solar thermal. More efficient than solar photovoltaic, and you’d need all that land to power the U.S. It has nothing to do with storage.

Still rather primitive by the looks of it…There is not enough resources put into further research of the cost efficiency of extracting and storing of the renewable energy…We shd make this number one priority bcoz energy is what drives the progress…nothing else as much as energy really

News: Working toward a more inexpensive and widespread use of solar energy - Aalto University research like this

What’s primitive? Solar thermal?

That’s pretty neat, but even if they doubled the efficiency it would still take a facility the size of Texas, or of course scattered in the U.S.

Yes, very…Maybe 50 years ago it would be something worth investing in…

It’s still more efficient than photovoltaic

I was publicly lynching them and setting their houses on fire? Lol, you’re a massive joke. I wasn’t even alive back then, for one…

I understand your views thoroughly. We are all one big group right? If somebody shoots up a school with a gun, all gun owners did it. When blacks were lynched, all southerners did it. Get real.

How would you like it if I started generalizing everything? If I blamed you for the actions of other people. It’s absolutely childish and absurd.

As far as the south not wanting to give up slaves… No crap. Their economy depended on it at the time.

It was obviously wrong. I’m not the one that supports other people depriving people’s liberty. If anything, you are the one that supports that since you are a champion of banning things and having bureaucrats control everything…

Get this, slavery would have ended in the 1880s or so anyway due to industrialization. Modern machines were rapidly replacing human workers, and more people were moving to cities, rather than trying to earn a living on farms. Owning a slave doesn’t make sense when you can own a machine that will do the same thing. You don’t have to feed the machine. You don’t have to worry about the machine escaping. The machine doesn’t do a crappy job when it’s malnourished…

Technology would have ended slavery. IIRC, other than Haiti, every other country ended slavery without a war.

I didn’t fight against integration you disgusting fool.

You act like Federal Intervention is the end all. As if it has cured our woes and is capable of it. It isn’t. There still is slavery, it’s called welfare. Look at what has happened to the people that are in a perpetual state of poverty because of it.

The Federal Government is going to have blood all over it’s filthy hands when this economy tanks and people are put through the meat grinder.

You know what Konan, you’re right. I should like the Federal Government that gave us

THIS

THIS

THIS

AND THIS

Because if it wasn’t for them, a highschool in Georgia would still be segregated.

I mean, really, who cares about the financial bloodbath that is about to happen. The Federal Government deserves a free pass on all that. It’s more convenient to blame it on Free Markets anyway… As if we have actually had a laissez faire system recently.

Umm, the real threat, debt, is obviously the greater threat than some fear mongering created by people like Al Gore who are invested in creating a carbon credits derivatives market to profit themselves.

Debt is a natural byproduct of a capitalist system??? Where do you learn this BS? How does capitalism give us a national debt? The Free Market didn’t forcefully addle 320 million Americans into indentured servitude by spending trillions of dollars on entitlements, welfare and warfare that we didn’t have. It was the federal government that did that.

Is there consumer debt in a free market? Yeah. Obviously there are private loans, etc… That is entirely different from the national debt. It’s no surprise that you aren’t aware of the difference.

Only you could blame the debt incurred from socialistic policies like SS, Medicare and Welfare on the Free Market.

Accounting just for the debt accumulated ($100 trillion), and the devaluation of the currency (97% over 90 years) America is not only bankrupt, but radically worse off than at any other time in its history, and it’s not even a close comparison.
During the majority of America’s existence there were almost no taxes. There was almost zero real consumer or national debt (and compared to today it was a tiny speck) and yet we still had growth that outpaces this heroin induced “rally”.

Lol. YOU see this list and you think “That’s not enough”

PITA.

I’m going to spare you and leave out the rest of the bureaucracies and the divisions of said bureaucracies.

Hah, but the facts are that the Fed govt ended the slavery and ended the segregation…And if there wasn’t for the fed govt, you would be living in your little southern apartheid there because “You don’t take kindly to strangers and foreigners dictating your way of life”…Why U getting mad…truth stings?

Lol, that’s a hella lot agencies…

Yeah, you really piss me off. When somebody accuses me of lynching people and wanting segregation, it’s enough to piss me off.

I don’t want slavery. I don’t want segregation. And I don’t want some Croatian socialist pawn, telling me that I shouldn’t be allowed to own firearms, that I need to pay EVEN MORE IN TAXES, that I need to carry the people unwilling to work, that I need the government to monitor me EVEN MORE, that I need the patriot act, that I need the NDAA, that I need to pay for bailouts, that I need to pay for stimulus, etc…

I don’t want it anymore than you want some crazy American forcing your government to do things you don’t want.

You have a big hat but no cattle.

Go pound sand.

We need more, right Konan? It’s good. All these agencies protect us! Right?

i’m a realist and a pragmatist…But you still live in a conservative bubble my friend…I said it clearly, your parents generation were alive during all this…That’s right, you should not allow the bubble to be pierced by any means…even if it’s by a needle of truth…because, what else have you got left then,… if the dreams and illusions are to be dispersed…

I figure most of them serve that purpose, yes…Can we go down the list and check?!
Damn , lol…Christian Bale is so cray cray

Realists don’t believe printing money, raising taxes and going deeper into debt to fund more government programs is a viable solution. You are not a realist.

I live in a bubble, that’s for sure. But it’s not a conservative bubble. It’s a government bubble. It has ballooned out of control and it will burst. And with it, the US economy.

Now go out and enjoy your phony rally.
