The reason vote counting takes so long is because of the voting laws in certain states and the sheer volume. PA is a great example. They can’t count the early vote or mail in ballots as soon as they arrive. Why, because that’s what the GOP wrote into law or sued to put in place. No counting until the day of the election. You want the vote counting to be done the day of, let the vote counting start as soon as voting starts. Mail in, early, day of, that’s not three separate votes, that’s a single vote - called an election. Always has been. Nothing new there. C’mon, Trump and family have used mail in and early ballots plenty of times before this election. It’s plain to see why he’s suing everybody. Because he’s not getting what he wants and well, he’s sued a couple people in his past. Actually, that’s been a strategy of his for decades. Nothing new there either.

From a couple weeks ago. Burning votes is illegal, and bad for sure. Similarly as bad is voter suppression. Houston, TX, in a county of almost 5 million people, and 2.4 million registered voters, had ONE drop box for mail-in and early votes.
That’s because the GOP governor cited “security” concerns about having too many. He sued to get extras removed. He was successful.
