Political Opinion

Ha! My favorite post about sman was on Clint’s other thread where he finally got sick of it and posted a giant picture of a bug zapper. That was priceless!

Which thread was that?

Here it is…Post #1657. It was very funny at the time.

haha nice.

As long as we are talking about government regulations. Here is an article that is interesting. I am not a supporter of abortion but that is besides the point. The government needs to back off.
A Letter from Hobby Lobby Stores CEO – for Freedom of Religion | Independent Sentinel

At any point and under any circumstance id give my life for my kid. It’s wrong to infringe upon someone else rights for yourself. Especially someone who can’t stick up for themselves. And how sad that some kids moms don’t. From the day I found out I was happy. Thoughts of what I was gonna do with him and how successful and smart he would be or what I would teach him. No excuse to abort a baby at any stage.

Obama is an enthusiatic proponent of abortion.

It’s a shame that his mother wasn’t.

Haha.

It’s possible these guys are just trying to win people over. If they are telling the truth though, I wonder where that 1.3mil/day will come from. Probably have to stay open later and on sunday, then cut pay and jobs.

Be interesting to see where this goes.

The government has no business interfering with which is (or rather should be) any and every individual’s own free decision.
Speak about ‘… land of the free …’.

LOL.
Clint is always good for a cutting observation.
I damn near spilled half of my morning coffee, reading that … good one.

Cheers,
P.

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.

Here’s an article that caught my eye this AM.

Pretty amazing that a family with a net worth of over $80 million can’t pony up and pay this off without putting a hand out.

Bill probably gets that much for a speech…

Heh, yeah.

That article is frightening. Says there’s rumors she’ll run in 2016

I read he makes 250k for a speech. That’s pretty sad.

EDIT: the article not his pay.

and yet I am still waiting for my Obamaphone

Long before 2016, let’s all get to know the real Hillary Rodham Clinton.

This video (filmed prior to 2008) is 1½ hours long, but it’s well worth your time.

How the Obama’s “salute” the American flag¹

They hate² the American flag — just as they hate the Constitution.

:42:

Obama has his own replacement³ for the hated American flag.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of Obamaland
and to the Dictatorship for which it stands,
one Socialist Welfare State, under Obama,
with Food Stamps and Obama-Phones for all.

¹ This image may have been reversed (right to left), and then photo-shopped (to make the wedding rings and the lapel pin appear to be in the correct position) — but, the website I stole this image from adamantly denies manipulating it.

² Michele Obama (boy, ain’t she a piece of work?) reveals her contempt for the American flag.

Sweet now I can get my Obama phone. Thanks Clint just let me know where to send you my bill

It is Forex which is a trade. Here you may earn profit. Here can fall effect on political view. But in present time its effect is positive. So you can start without any confusion.

Go back to Main Street, and turn left on Forum Boulevard. That will take you to Highway 101. Head north.

You’re in the wrong part of town to talk about trades, and profit.

The lefty salute is fake: Obama’s Left-Handed Flag Salute - Urban Legends

Just search Google images. There are loads of pics of both the Prez, and first ummm… n/m all pledging righty.

Now… About Michelle’s purported quote. There’s no actual audio, so anything that suggests she said “All this just for a flag” is completely subjective. I rewound the video of the incident a good 20 times, and the syllables don’t line up for saying that. Although she does possibly say “flag” at the end, the post holding up the bulletproof barrier makes it difficult to get a full shot of what the full quote. So my thought is, without audio of the incident, I have to give her the benefit of the doubt.

My take? Completely subjective. Much like watching “Ghost Adventures” and being told what the ghosts were supposedly saying in one of the EVP segments. Can anyone definitively say they know what a ghost was saying? Guess That EVP: Hellfire Caves - Ghost Adventures

People hear what they want to hear, and see what they want to see. I think the movie you posted about Hillary Clinton was a far more damaging expose of a corrupted megalomaniac. A lot of that I had seen before. Especially about the fundraising scandal. But I didn’t know there was a full length movie about her propensity for transgression.

All this being said, I am in no way a fan of Obama. But I don’t think he’s out to destroy America. In fact I think just the complete opposite is true. I think he views the world through rose colored glasses, and as a typical politician doesn’t understand how deep the issues that currently face the country are. That unfortunately puts him in the Jimmy Carter category and makes him completely ineffective.

Well, based on Boehner’s latest comments today, looks like the budget talks are going nowhere fast… Here is a timely article from McClellan that discusses why increased revenue WILL NOT SOLVE THE FISCAL CLIFF, noting the historical INVERSE relationship between taxes and private GDP. McClellan strips out the Government spending from GDP in his chart so this relationship can be seen more clearly:

Why Increased Revenues Won’t Solve Fiscal Cliff - Free Weekly Technical Analysis Chart - McClellan Financial

The chart dates back to 1955. The only time we deviated from the inverse relationship was the late 90’s. Of course, the Dems love to tout this as justification to raise taxes. They conveniently leave out the fact that Clinton’s policies benefited from the technology boom, and also a strong dollar which kept the cost of commodities and materials cheap. Those tax policies eventually took their toll though, and the inverse relationship came back with a vengeance in 2000.
